This event is designed to provide students with intellectual and developmental disabilities the opportunity to:
Develop and practice interview skills by participating in three mock interviews with local employers and business leaders.
Receive immediate feedback on their resumes and interview skills.
Learn about local agencies that can assist them with achieving successful post-school outcomes. Participating agencies include: The Arcs of Chemung, Schuyler, and Steuben; Career Development Council; Catholic Charities; OPWDD; GST BOCES Adult Education; Parent to Parent Network; and many more!
This event is coordinated by a group of Transition Specialists associated with the NYS Regional Special Education Technical Assistance Support Center, and local school districts from the GST-BOCES region.
