RE: The Arc of Chemung Announces Two Additions to its Leadership Team

Elmira, NY – The Arc of Chemung is pleased to announce two new directors who have recently joined its Leadership Team: Ann Gerould and Stephanie Matkosky.
Ann Gerould, Day Services Director—
Ann returns to Elmira after living in Saratoga Springs, NY for the last 19 years to assume the Day Services Director position at The Arc of Chemung. In her 33-year career, Ann has served children and families in various roles in both direct service and administration with Glove House, Inc., Berkshire Farm Center and Services for Youth, and South Glens Falls School District. Most recently she worked for AIM Services, Inc. in Saratoga County in conjunction with NYS Department of Health and spent last year in a clinical internship at the Albany Veterans Administration Medical Center. She holds a BSW from Cornell University and a Master’s in Clinical Social Work from University at Albany. Ann has been a very active member of the theater community both in the Elmira/Corning area and as a founding member of the Saratoga Actor’s Guild. She is the mother of 3 grown children and lives in Elmira with her husband, Scot.
Stephanie Matkosky, Residential Services Director—
Stephanie has been with The Arc of Chemung for 15 years, starting as a Direct Support Professional and most recently as the Assistant Residential Director. Stephanie received her Associates Degree in Human Services through Corning Community College and holds a Bachelors in Business Administration from SUNY Brockport, with a Concentration in Management. She recently completed the Non-Profit Leadership Program through Corning Community College and is currently an American Heart Association CPR/First Aid/AED Training Center Faculty Member and Instructor. Stephanie is the mother of two children, aged 10 and 12, and resides in Horseheads with her husband Brandon.
